About the Organization
"Built 2 W.I.I.N, Inc. (Women Influencing and Inspiring Our Nation) is a Memphis-based women's empowerment organization passionately committed to supporting women facing the challenges of depression. With an alarming statistic of nearly one in every eight women expected to experience clinical depression in their lifetime (www.mentalhealthamerica.net), our mission is twofold: to raise vital awareness about the often-dismissed and widely misunderstood subject of depression, and to provide a diverse range of impactful and uplifting events that unite, educate, and empower women within our community. Guided by the unwavering belief that all women possess the strength to achieve their aspirations, we illuminate a path of triumph through the shadows of depression.
